Hi all!
We have some very exciting news to share with you all! Over the past few months within the Geyser team, we've been evaluating our stance on the Geyser project and have come to the conclusion that the name "Geyser" is ultimately misleading for what the project has to offer. We've identified it to be a major source of contention and confusion within the community and often found people unable to put the name to the project. As a result of this we had a few internal discussion and came to the conclusion we needed to change.

This has been in the works for a while, but we're happy to share this with you all today! This is a full-fledged rewrite of Geyser from the ground up. We've redesigned the codebase to be much more synonymous with its name - simply put, the functionality to create Geysers now exists! All the old behavior has been stripped from the project as we believe it was not inline with the realigned goals for the project.
The existing version of Geyser will be deprecated over the coming months, however we've designed this plugin in such a way to where it can run alongside the previous version of Geyser without breaking any backwards compatibility. The new command is /geyser3 for the time being.
